Louis Picco, CPA, Partner
Louis provides our clients extensive knowledge and experience in customized tax management solutions and other accounting and business advice that helps our clients “Keep What’s Yours”.
Louis began his career as a CA in public practice as well as a Financial Controller for Eastwood Group of Companies. He launched his own professional practice in 1999, incorporating it to become Louis T. Picco Inc. a year later.
Today, his clients have access to not only his accounting and tax planning knowledge but also have access to his first-hand experience growing a successful business. His key to providing exceptional client care is simple: Treat all clients both big and small fairly and with respect. To this day, he is fuelled by an honest passion for finding the best possible solution to help clients succeed.
Louis has been a member of Business Networking International (BNI) for over 20 years. This has helped him grow his business and has allowed him to provide his clients with referrals to other qualified professionals when in need.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Louis focused on his love for sports. Most recently he’s been focused on taking his golf game more seriously.

Alex Jo, CPA, Partner
Alex brings extensive knowledge and experience to our clients which allows him to provide a wide range of tax consulting and planning services to Canadian companies and individuals. Further, he provides Assurance (audit and review) engagement services for private and not-for-profit organizations.
Previous to joining Louis T. Picco Inc as Partner, Alex worked with Deloitte, one of the world’s largest professional services firms, as a Partner and a Managing Partner in various roles. During his 17 years with Deloitte (Deloitte & Touche, Deloitte Consulting, and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in Canada, USA, and Asia), he solved the most complicated accounting, tax and business matters for multinational companies, emerging companies, non-profit organizations, start-ups, families, and individuals alike.
Prior to Deloitte, he worked at Samsung Electronics as a new product manager and was also an associate at the Oklahoma Department of Commerce/US Department of Commerce.
A strategic focus on execution is the key to Alex’s professional and personal success. After all, thinking and planning are easy, but it is the execution that needs your commitment and hard work.
When he’s not engaging with clients, you’ll find Alex spending time with family, golfing or working towards another professional designation. During his time with Deloitte, Alex worked in over 45 cities and 30 countries. This has landed him in the Million Miler Club of major airlines including SkyTeam and Star Alliance.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Louis focused on his love for sports. Most recently he’s been focused on taking his golf game more seriously.

Yeonny Yoo, Senior Staff Accountant
Yeonny works with our Senior Accountants on the year-end corporate tax return and also works with CRA and clients closely.
When she’s not in the office, you can find Yeonny playing video games, socializing with friends and spending most of his time with her two energetic sons. Her family has also recently welcomed a cat named Zeus.

Nicole Yu, Staff Accountant
Nicole assists our team with preparing our clients’ personal tax returns and corporate financial statements for corporate tax returns.
She often works directly with clients to gather the information needed to prepare drafts for Senior Accountants to review. With her friendly attitude, Nicole helps make our clients feel comfortable when asking questions about basic tax rules. She is focused on ensuring our clients are satisfied with the service they receive from us.
Currently, Nicole is enrolled in the CPA PREP Student Program and working towards her CPA designation. When she is not at work, she can be found searching for Vancouver’s next great dessert spot

Mohsen Asheghi, Staff Accountant
Mohsen assists our Senior Accountants with preparing our clients’ individual tax returns and corporate financial statements for corporate tax returns.
He gained controlling experience in the automotive industry and has spent the past two years working with Louis T. Picco Inc. You can expect a client-focused and organized approach when working with Mohsen and a true dedication to helping our clients “keep what’s yours”.
When he is not working at Louis T. Picco Inc, Mohsen is often exploring beautiful British Columbia, socializing with friends and family and discovering new foods and cultures.

Sonia Khosa, Staff Accountant
Sonia works closely with our clients to prepare their corporate and personal tax returns. Understanding that each client is unique, she applies a professional and personal approach to our clients’ accounting and financial tasks and confidently forms close business relationships with each client. This allows her to provide personalized advice depending on the matter that our clients face.
You can expect strategic thinking, creative problem solving, great diligence in her work. Prior to joining Louis T. Picco Inc., she successfully managed two family-operated businesses where she oversaw payroll and financial aspects She also worked as a financial controller in a law firm.
Sonia’s key to great work is finding work/life balance. You will also find her travelling, spending quality time with my family, reading books, and cooking.

Anette Anastacio, Office Manager
Anette manages our internal bookkeeping, administrative tasks and also files our clients’ tax returns with the CRA. She is often the first contact when it comes to client inquiries that are non-tax related. You can expect a positive, professional, and helpful experience when working with Anette.
With over 25 years of experience working in administrative positions for both private and public companies, Anette is well-equipped with not only the skills to go the extra mile but the knowledge to offer thorough guidance to our clients.
When she is not in the office, you can find her skiing, biking, playing tennis, hiking, travelling to new places, or spending time with her family’s dog, Kico.

Robin Harvey, Reception and Administration
Robin is often the first point of contact for client communications and inquiries. She is responsible for payment information, database management and general support for Louis. She is personable and professional, making each of our clients’ experiences a positive one.
She has over 25 years of experience in customer service and sales in multiple industries, including tourism, sport and event PR. She has supported the IOC Media Relations Team at both the Calgary and Vancouver Olympic Games. Her PR experience also led to working on sports communications for FIFA Women’s World Cup in Vancouver.
When not in the office, you’ll find Robin volunteering, cycling, and annually assisting with the Vancouver Bike Show where she utilizes her public relations skills while representing a number of professional athletes

Bahar Fakhr, Administrative Assistant
Bahar supports our administrative team with filing our clients’ tax returns, client bookkeeping and answering clients’ non-tax-related inquiries.
With over 8 years of experience working for international companies in an administrative capacity, Bahar can handle a variety of tasks with ease and ensures that our clients’ experience is always positive and productive. She is trilingual and speaks Persian, Italian and English.
When she is not assisting our team and clients, Bahar can be found walking the trails, discovering new parts of the Greater Vancouver area, travelling to new places and tasting great food and coffee.
